The Tau feeder is a specialised machine that can feed materials into an ironing machine. The Tau 3300 can feed flat materials of various sizes like pillowcases, towels, bed sheets and tablecloth. The feeding machine reduces operator effort and gives consistent performance.
- The suction belt holds the smoothed out material taut as it is transferred to the mangle.
- The TAU feeder has a suction system for the feeding belt and a variable flow suction for the ventomat
- Speed of the feeding is automatically adjusted according to the ironing speed
- Maximum speed of feed is 40 items per minute
- The unique slide blade helps straighten and smooth out items using air flow
- The machine works quietly
- Damaged or dirty items are automatically rejected
- The machine is also equipped with wheels and guides for moving it, easing maintenance operations
- The semi-automatic machine allows the operator to feed a large amount of materials in a short span of time
- The standard version of the machine is equipped with perforated and suction polyester belts to allow feeding wet clothes
- The machine has a suction chamber or ventomat that sucks the item and uses strong air flow to smooth out the wrinkles formed during washing
- Versions with working widths 3300 – 3500 – 4000 mm are available
- TAU R is a version of the machine with varying depths, depending on the space available
