Lectra Gerber Spreader for Fashion – XLS50 / XLS125

The Gerber Spreader for Fashion is an automated spreading solution designed to prepare fabric lays for garment cutting with high speed and repeatable quality. It spreads flat, folded or rolled fabrics without introducing tension, helping you maintain perfect alignment across the entire lay and minimize defects downstream in cutting and sewing.

Built for fast-paced apparel environments, the system can spread over 100 meters of material per minute with lay heights up to 22 cm, giving cutting rooms the throughput they need without sacrificing control. The XLS50 and XLS125 variants handle rolls up to 50 kg and 125 kg respectively, so you can work with a wide variety of fabric weights and roll sizes while keeping operators’ workload low.

Edge-alignment and tension-free handling optimize fabric consumption, reduce end loss and rejection rates, and improve cut quality. The XLs platform is designed to process woven or knit materials supplied either on rolls or in flat-folded packs, with optional accessories to support different spread modes such as one-way face-up or face-to-face (zigzag). Easy-to-use controls and an automated cradle system simplify loading, unloading, and operation, shortening training time and boosting day-to-day productivity.
