Our Motto

The IIGM Apparel Engineering Centre aims to impart quality training to new entrants and Indian youth by providing them an opportunity for direct employment in the garment industry. Our customers also use this highly advanced facility to train their production staff and give them additional skills to increase their procustivity.

Training Institute

The Apparel Engineering Centre is a professionally run institute located in Bangalore. This training centre branches out to other cities across India. The main campus covers an area of 4 acres in lush gardens, giving an ideal ambiance for students to concentrate and apply themselves to the subjects offered.

Now, in a much bigger way, with a state of the art facility and hostel, we offer a variety of programs for all disciplines of garmenting and all experience levels of students.

We are equipped with modern infrastructure such as:

  • Well spaced laboratories
  • Movable trolleys for each work station
  • Tool rooms
  • Service centres
  • CAD labs
  • Application Centres
  • Separate theoretical class rooms for the capacity of over 40 candidates
  • Fully functional hostel and cafeteria that runs throughout the year

Our Recognition

We have been recognized due to our commitment to excellence and innovation for training for the past 3 decades. Our training is affiliated with AMHSSC – Apparel Made Up’s Home Furnishing Sector Skill Council, which is motivated by NSDC – National Skill Development Corporation. The Ministry of Textiles in India has joined hands with us to elevate skilled garmenting and we are actively working with other nations to skill their labour.
