The Juki DP-2100 is an advanced sleeve setting solution designed for premium garment production in both men's and ladies’ apparel. As the world’s first dry-head sleeve setting machine, it eliminates lubrication-related staining issues while significantly reducing maintenance needs—making it ideal for high-value garments where finishing quality is paramount.
Equipped with JUKI’s innovative independent right–left belt feed mechanism, the machine provides precise seam allowance control, prevents misalignment, and ensures smooth feeding even around the complex contours of a sleeve cap. The alternating up-down motion of the belt feed and intermediate presser eliminates tucks and irregular puckering, while minimizing fabric damage.
The machine incorporates Active Tension Technology, allowing needle thread tension to be optimized on a portion-by-portion basis. These tension settings can be saved and recalled for individual styles, ensuring consistent results across multiple operators or production lines.
The IP-420C color touch panel dramatically simplifies programming. Operators can visually edit shirring amounts, stitch pitch, and thread tension using a graphic armhole display. Data can be saved or transferred to other machines via USB, CompactFlash, or other media, enabling seamless workflow sharing between factories or subcontractors.
With manual, semi-automatic, and fully automatic modes, plus advanced programming features such as smoothing, correction pitch, teaching, grading, and mirroring, the DP-2100 offers unmatched flexibility for varied garment styles. The direct-drive system ensures fast acceleration, precise stopping, and excellent responsiveness, while the increased presser foot lift and maximum stitch length of 6 mm allow stable control even on heavy materials.
Engineered for superior seam quality, ease of use, and high productivity, the Juki DP-2100 sets a new benchmark for sleeve setting performance.

Programming Device Performance
- Operation modes: Manual, Semi-auto, Full-auto
- Step data stored: Shirring amount, Needle thread tension, Number of stitches, Stitch pitch
- Monitoring: Shirring amounts and sewing positions
- Functions: Teaching, Grading, Mirroring, Program starting position change
* Maximum sewing speed is limited by alternating vertical movement of the walking/presser foot and stitch length. “sti/min” = stitches per minute.
